A man is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed by a young man riding a bike.
The 34-year-old was stabbed several times in the body and arm in a violent and unprovoked attack.
Police are hunting a white man aged about 20, possibly with a lazy eye, with short brown hair, of slim build and prominent cheekbones.
Officers were called at about 5.10pm on Friday to Vale Road, South Tottenham, and arrived to find the man being given first aid by members of the public.
Police also helped until an ambulance arrived. He is now recovering in hospital.
