Boy, 17, in 'serious condition' following stabbing near Crystal Palace

A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to Woodland Road, near Crystal Palace Park, at about 3.15pm to reports of a man suffering from stab wounds.

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

The victim, believed to be 17-years-old, was taken to a south London hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Lambeth Police are investigating. They believe the teenager may have been stabbed in a different location to where he was found.

No arrests have been made.
